Know where the problem lies?
It lies in the battle between what you know and what you feel.
If you want something real, just stop entertaining temporary people. You’ll never have to force anything that’s truly meant to be. Never regret anything coz at one time it was what you wanted.
If you feel like you’re losing everything, remember that trees lose their leaves every year and they still stand tall and wait for better days to come.
The truth is still the truth, even if no one believes it. A lie is still a lie, even if everyone believes it.
Appreciate where you are in your journey, even if it’s not where you want to be. Every season serves a purpose.
Many times when God does not change your circumstances. It’s because he’s mostly concerned with changing you within the circumstance. Your character, your inner strength, you’re integrity matters to him because they are everlasting qualities.
The wisdom, the strength, and the maturity that grows within you are all things you’re going to need to sustain the calling God has on your life.
Always, know that there is a purpose in your pain.
Be the silent watcher of your thoughts and behavior. You are beneath the thinker. You are the stillness beneath the mental noise. You are the love and joy beneath the pain.
She found stillness.
For today it was a breath- one lovely, slow, deep breath.
Yesterday it was a moment drinking tea alone. She noticed the steam curling up.
She decided to watch for pockets like those daily. To plan for them, even.
To enter them likes she might the doorway of a dear friend.
In silence there is eloquence. Stop weaving and see how the pattern improves.
A quiet mind is able to hear intuition over fear.
Be still and listen. The earth is singing…
I meet my SELF in stillness and we breathe.
Perhaps it’s just easier to smile and pretend everything is fine.
Rather than admit my heart’s a little swollen from losing something that wasn’t even mine.
Not always who is smiling is happy, there are tears in the heart that do not reach the eyes…
My mind is more talkative than my mouth.
Life is so ironic. It takes sadness to know what happiness is, noise to appreciate silence and absence to value presence.
Don’t waste sunsets with people who will be gone by the sunrise.
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever God maybe
For my uncomfortable soul.
In the bell clutch of circumstances,
I’ve not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeoning of chance
My head is bloody, but not unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears.
looms but the atrocity of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years.
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
If matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll.
I am the master of my fate.
I am the captain of my soul.
If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease the one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help the fainting robin
Unto his neat again,
I shall not live in vain.
A school is never a mere structure made out of bricks and stones. It’s made up of memories, successes, failures, first___…
…a part of everyone’s childhood…school…home is where your heart is, but mine in both home as well as school…
